KIRIKKALE UNIVERSITY ISLAMIC COUNTRIES RESEARCH AND APPLİCATİON CENTER

 

İSÜMER aims to promote and develop the information produced in the field of theology in Turkey in the national and international arena, to provide mutual evaluation opportunities with stakeholder organizations, and to collect the produced information in a common database; Conducting studies on the history, geography, culture and potential of Islamic countries; It is the determination of the possibilities and limits of joint accreditation studies between the relevant countries and the Faculties of Theology, Islamic Sciences and Religious Sciences.


The Center carries out the following activities in line with its objectives:

- To organize national and international symposiums, panels, seminars and courses on subjects related to Islamic sciences. - To create a library and archive containing books, information, documents, pictures, documentary series and films published in different languages ​​on Islamic sciences.

- To effectively use mass media such as newspapers, radio, television and the internet within the framework of the Center's objectives.

- To exchange knowledge, experience, scientists and students by establishing connections with institutions that conduct Islamic sciences research in our country and in different countries of the world.

- To publish in Turkish, Arabic, English and other languages ​​on Islamic sciences research.

- To prepare plans and projects to bring modern and classical sources of Islamic sciences into our language; to publish academic journals, books and similar publications related to the field, to conduct studies on the verification of manuscripts in this field.

- To bring the academic knowledge whose language is Turkish to other languages ​​and to establish the relevant units within the Center for this purpose.

- To provide the necessary support to these studies by carrying out studies on teaching Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Malay, Albanian, Bosnian, Ottoman Turkish and similar languages, which are the mother tongues of nations that accept the religion of Islam, as well as English, French and similar languages.
